FBR- Free Burma Ranger

At the HS Chapel last Friday at Grace International school. There’s a guy who came to speak and tell us about FBR – Free Burma Ranger – David Eubank. He talked about how God put him into this organization and started helping Burmese people, the situation, and people who work on the field. He explained us about more what he’s been doing over years to escape the bullets , landmines and attack from the Regime’s army, he also tell them about the love of Christ , I saw many people follow Christ and got baptized from the slideshow he brought. His daily prayers are about

1. Pray that everyone will get peaceful heart and love from God that no matter what side you are from either The Regime’s army groups or the run-away Burmese people who have to evacuate all the times

2. Pray that everyone won’t get hurt both sides even the Regime’s army is hunting them down everywhere. And the refugees try to protect themselves with all weapons they have so that’s really hard.

3. Pray for God’s protection, their salvation and life.

So please pray for the people along the border who work for FBR

He said Satan is so inconvenience it will try to attack us every times so keep praying for God wisdom, pray that not even a thought of temptation come into our mind, asks God for the strength, stamina, and powerful words that we can expel Satan by using the name of the Father, spirit, Son and Jesus Christ.

i'm so blessed to get to know this people and i'm fond to be around them as well, i continue to be their friends , we all pray that we will Grow in the Lord closer everyday, give Him praise and glory, thank you for His salvation and grace. pray for this people to gain more leadership ability and more discipleship to be able to love people all around and tell the story of Jesus with the whole heart passion.

Sa was dii krab! the poster up that you see is for the CMU English camp for chiangmai university engineer this thursday, please pray for our outreach and ministry here , Baan Kanoon partner with chiangmai baptist church.

i'd like to share my good day today .....

start off by doing the same thing like usual , wake up at 6:20am, clean up the mess and freshen my body, get dressed, drive my blue-metal truck to work with 120Km/H, have a breakfast,

but at work today it was cool, like i have said i have thought about going back to Tejas again this year for summer 2010, but i might have to deal , big time with the recent job i have, working at Grace int'l school is pretty big deal, everyone always say "what are you thinking?" when i told them that " hmhmm maybe im going to Tejas this summer." they will look at the first knot like "so why did you apply to work here?" so i was like ".....oh well that was because i was going to apply to be a volunteer, that seemed to be a good respond but noo.. thought that whoaaa im going to be working in this huge school and i will get paid..bahhh they offered me a job later on likely i took a vow when they asked would you like to work at a fulltime staff cuz you will get $ dang! i was screwed , broken. so i did a mistake, STEP AHEAD! i forgot this verse.

If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm;

and started working 3 months probation was thrilled to do and took my eager to fill their hope as im going to help them organise and such. it was fun great moment, but Camptejas desire's flame is starting inside of my chest... i wish i could jump up and down if i can at work only i can do is stomping under my desk .... oh well if that is God's will for me to go to CampTejas again, he will. just wait!

friend came over to my office and cherish my iced mocca (Nescafe' + Nestle chocolate) and talked about Glee. oh what fun! but that's not true happiness!

After work i went to Maewang, recently we, BaanKanoon started 2 new groups, i went to Mae (mother) Thee's house, Kai Au (her son), Mae Saa last Tuesday. i started by helping them and tell the story of Jesus , usually we have pretty decent number of people who would help but every time we tried to do stuffs and more leadership in its field. so today they dropped me off as i was going to be teaching another group by myself, fine! , God is with me everywhere , every time.

i walked with my half-done hotdog and cup of coke in my hands , was hungry after work. i saw Nong Jaab on the way, hopped on his bike and enjoy his wobble biking style. greet people on the side walk, Sa was dii krab! lowing my pride, be generous, hundred eyes staring me like im a gentile. yes, im not from here and im going to tell the true story today if you like. called kids name if i remember, once failed but okay. destination was a minute away. greet the host, spoke northern thai. broke the ice, continued the convo last week and caught things up. walked out to see more kids as my mind was started questioning why am i here alone. alone? No! God is with me now. don't be scared son! continued to play with kids and time to tell the story was near, more friends arrived to back up, see! God's people always come to help. afterward walked inside of the host house to get ready. there're 7 people if only im good at math and remembering. i began to tell the story of the fallen of men. Adam and Eva, a satanic serpent. i spoke mostly in northern language, back and forth to make sure they understand. once the real conversation began. i asked one kid about what did you learn from this message, i made a conversation from here

Kid: "i learned that there're two kinds of sin"

Me: (inner thought) i was like whoaaaa .

Kid: "there are good sin and bad sin. "

Me: noooooo! big time. so i asked " so which once do you think is good?"

Kid: Both! (one word!)

Me: so we learned that sin is bad right? so can you tell me why do you think both are good, please tell me again which one do you like the best?

Kid: the good one will make us happy, and the bad one will make us learn/teach us how bad its own

Me: hmmmhmm so do you like to be a good person? yes?

Kid: yes!

Me: and you don't like sin, yes?

Kid: yes! but both are good!

Me: why? so tell me how you can go to heaven what if you cant breath from now?

Kid: i dont know. heaven?

Me: sure?

Kid: if i follow five precepts i can

Me:so how many do you follow right now?

Kid: at least two.

Me: so you're not sure you can go to heaven. so please tell me how do you like to do sins?

how do you make sure you can go to heaven?

Kid: do good things

Me: tahhh dahhh!! so finally you like to do good thing, that against from what you have said,

so sin is bad, isn't it?

Kid: but it's still good

Me: so here! (thinking about the strategy that i learned during the weekend) there are two boats, Good and Bad , imagine you're standing on both ones. which way would you go? ahead right? but how can you do that?

Kid: i don't know.

Me: pick one?

Kid: silent .....

Me: okay you will pick only one right, good one? if not you will sink and die in the end. if you pick the bad one you will go to hell, and other go to heaven, am i right?

Me: so will you do good things not to sin, right? yes, and that's because sin is bad, but one man came to earth to help us to redeem our sins and wants us to go back and have relationship with Him, His father God. His name is Jesus. and that because his commandment is to love people and show people about the love of God. that's why i am here, like i never met/knew you before but God wants me and my friends to be here so. i could walk outside and ignore you but that's not what God wants me to. you could have looked at me and thought how arrogrant this guy is, he's not even talk to me. that's an example. God loves you and He'll bless you. my heart was crushed and my eyes were watered. i prayed and asked God for blessing upon their life and open their heart!

Mix feeling

Recently I’ve been thinking about CampTejas lately, I’ve prayed that God would answer my prayer, He did once but now why am I still thinking about it? It’s been crazy and hurt that my 3 months probation is now expired but hasn’t heard any confirmation from them. Been 10 days my heart is grabbed, plus with the second thought of quitting this job again. God please help me I have no idea where you want me to be right now, CampTejas or here at Grace int’l school. CampTejas I would love to go as it’d be my one last year that I want to go, all of sudden thoughts just come up and seem real for me when I dreamed, burning flame, yes, we all have faced the huge desire in your heart when God lead us, to do ministry in your hometown or even oversea, get a job, go to school and such. I don’t know why I can’t get over it. My job now is well, 2 bosses they are nice and cool, people are Christian and it’s a Christian atmosphere that you can blend yourself into but I can’t, I have a thread in my mind and been asking why can’t I go . . right now I’m having headache, concerning about how can I going to tell my boss and compromise scheme would happen, let me go with 3 months coming back or let me go for good. Will see in God’s will

Please pray for me for guidance in this situation whether Go to the CampTejas again or stay at GIS

Dear all my beloved friends in this world,

My valentines's day this year was pretty okay, things that ive thought werent that bad, turned out pretty well, job, summer at Tejas thought, friends all things that i ve missed, i havent heard any news from some people, i was behind trying to keep in touch but recently lost. Good old friends are away. no clue; email and Facebook dont help much. oh well i hang out with new friends most time, more merrier eh? no! somehow i still think of how precious we all had, we were cool, had fun we share stuffs what going on in our life. im bad at communicate either so i cant only just say that, it'd be like a mirror " look at yourself!" one time me and my friend got into the deep conversation how different people are, people grieving , crying, hurting or suffering and such .... "you cant make everyone to be just like you or you want them to be, Ekk" one of my good friends said. so im like YEAH! just let it go with the flow ,

.... so Zac moved to Hangdong area for awhile since i went to the state like over 6 months ago. he just started the new place for the college to hang out but the purpose is telling them about the Love of our beloved God, i cant do thing much financially but other than that i did help him searched for the place to get started and later he asked me to make a flyer and poorly at the school that i'm working right (for those who didnt know i'm now working at Grace international school as an administrative facilities assistant, fun . period!) not allowed me to particularly use a photoshop program as i usually use for making my artworks because it must be a paid verified program ....so? i was like how can i do it without ... i decide to grab a used paper on my used cut box that i made in my office then torn it a half, grabbed the pencil, drew it on imaginary as a map to the place, pasted some colors, put the sticky notes describing what interesting stuffs they are going to be held in a month, Bammmmm!!!! it's been almost a year

it's beeen a huge gap since the last post i did in May'09. i havent checked and thought this blog existed but it is, here i am. though i was in Texas last summer'09 at the Camp called " CampTejas" find out if you like to see what it's about, i leaned so many thing regardless i enjoy and love being there, summer camp is way fun that you should be able to go, experience with. but overall i grow in Lord pretty much due to the discipleship program they had at the camp was so awesome, i had a prayer partner, a covenant group, a team (Red Team), all the summer staffs who can pray for me as i am an international dude. also we had a extra time and discuss time to study about the Bible, bible verses to memorize. ohh how i love this camp. during the camp time i went to Missouri to be a groomsman for Shawn Cantrell too. and went to Georgia to visit the Wilkes; Paul and Heather in Athen, Georgia. after the camp i worked for a couple weeek to maintain the retreat season, it was so different i had to operate many activities in a day but great time. after i finished my duty at the camp i went to Louisiana to visit the Ratliff for a week. i dearly love them. they took me around the LA, fed me Cajun foods, yumm tasted like thai foods. then i went to stay with Beka over 2 weeks in South California. So Cal . . then stayed with Mike for 2 weeks then headed to home land; the land of smiles :D

so this past couple months i've been working a lot at Baan Kanoon trying to involve the ministry as i can, sometime so tired but hope that God would generate my energy and my life to be fulfilled things as i need. now i'm working at Grace international school; a christian school in chiangmai, my hometown, a place that pamper all the missionary's kids to grow in the Lord and be strong in Him. Praise!

so soon this year it's nearly a summer again SUMMER'10 i wish i could go back to Texas, so hope that i could

since i remember it was like two months that i havent updated my blog. anyway i'll inform you guys what has been going on in my life.

April:

It was a summer time basically in Thailand so we all just look forward to this month because it's getting hot this month and the Water festival is coming near in the second week. so this year i had fun with friends . walked around the moat one lap on the first day, drove around on second day, third day passed out dang tired. still do the ministry in Maewang with Ban Kanoon team.

The camp tejas application is finished and i get to go and right now i'm here in Texas.

on friday we had a fantastic friday ; special guests from the Lake Country Christian School, Texas . they taught us about the line dancing, and the game ran by Beka. overall it was great to see that God works in this community to bring people who believe in Him and can reach out to Thai people around.

on Saturday I went to Maewang to do the ministry with Baan Kanoon Team; we went there to play games with kids and tell the story: Rob and Es were telling the story of Jonah and the whale and Jordan incharge of the craft,it's so fun to see all the 20kids and 8 adults participated with us.

on Sunday We Baan Kanoon and LCCS kids went to House of Blessing, to worship and play with the kids. time for me to prepare and the verse that i've been thinking lately abut sharing Love of Christ so i brought my old tee shirts to give away too. All the kids there grow up so fast, i saw them last summer like my hip size and now the like my tommy size..praise the Lord. The kids are so sweet!

sooner i'll be at the CampTejas, Texas. only like a month and a half to be ready and prepare for the stuffs. yesterday had an interview with Laura F, the officer from the Interexhange org. the one who helps us to get the J-1 Visa to work eligibly in the US. it went well and it wasnt that really formal , i said like yeah, what!?, and forgot to say good bye. oh well the process is going to be finished within this month so by the end of this month, March. I'll get the application to attend the visa then head to US consulate.

whoa!! it's been so long after the Ultimate tourney in Bangkok one. i was recovering what a painful sore couple of days after that and was busy doing thing and prepare about stuffs to apply for the visa to the US , stressed out :( it was just all about the number, only thing i can do is praying, i could have asked someone to help but i want to hear if first what God would lead me to do, after i figured things out i got some enough amount to pay for the fee to get Visa include my month salary which is Good, God is great! After that on Thursday, my sister in Christ wanted to get baptized by me before she's going to the US for 3 months so it's so amazingly surprised by overall cuz i havent practiced it since 2 years ago for Sam but by His power, it must be done by God's spirit. it went pretty well and enjoy our dinner together. Welcome to God's family! Later on sunday we (BanKanoon members)all went to join the church in the village in MaeWang, there's a team from BanKanoon doing ministry there recently, so this is the next step that we've met the northern thai believers in that area, i can imagine that the God's land is spreading out, the seeds are planted and now it's growing up and up. so we visited their cell group one time and they invited us to go, it was a baptism ceremony for the new believers and kids. so the place was held at the place where people can do the bamboo rafting and whatfun activies. it took us half a hour to get there and walked along the sliding path way to see the place (i doubt it's made for the monkeys )that we can see all the kids and adults to get baptized. they started by having Korean, American and Thai pastors walked into the water then only Korean and American pastors were doing , i'm impressed by the place but i started wondering about the ceremony, i was hoping that Thai would do baptized because it would be awesome to see Thai Christians or even thai any christians can do this ceremony if you have done the Lord supper, got baptized so you should be proud to do it, i think. Anyway about the Camp that i would go is pretty near we only have 2 months away ; 1 month to wait to get the visa and then ready! one more thing, I havent done the raising yet! Yes! i'm going to make tees for sell soon. :) the end! Praise Him!

There you go! Ekk. First of all, i'm on the train right now and i hope it will be possible to post this before the internet will be gone. Oh well i just have a really great amazing time this year playing ultimate tourney in bangkok, I was in the team Neon Green we named "NEON FANTASY". My team member had pretty good mixed with good handlers, runners, defenders, and newcomers. We lost 2 games and won 2 games on the first day. We were on the 7th place on this tourney of like 14 teams. Pretty good eh? I was called to be a handler couple first 2 games then i felt not comfortable to be cuz i was tired from riding the train and went straight to the field without resting, imagine it'd probably the no no idea. Got headache all afternoon was a big deal. that sucks! Beside that I learned how people underestimate me but i take it as compliments cuz i learned what God has taught me, my strenght can not be possible without his power. Humble myself is the better way, then encourage people is good too. So the first day was fun just to get to know your team mate well, and talked about how you get to play ultimate and how long have you been playing and such. Then everybody went to their own hotel to get change and get ready for the party later on. We're so excited too ha ha cuz we three me, Kara and Leslie. Before we all went to the market to get our costumes. We got kinda same stuffs to wear that was good, cuz i myself wont be too much excited to do it by my own. Anyway after took a shower, we dressed up our nerdy future kid costume. We walked out to the alley to get a cab, the hundred pair of eye were watching us plus on the sky train peeps,the waking night bazaar we got a holler like "weirdos" but that was what we wanted to hear and hope it was going to be what we would be called, so got at the party i was so hungry and dehydrate so that was really meant for me to go things (free) to eat find once i'd found foods, hawling moment was ridiculously bad, no talking happened. Ha ha. Then after my tummy was filled, i was ready to rock out the party. I created the move to work perfectly with our outfits. Obviously it's ridiculously awesome by the eyes of us and showed our sweet move to our friends who we just knew that later on she's a judge for costume award. Whoa:) we had a bit fun at the party cuz musics just sucks really bad and realized that big games tomorrow is on the milky way. Sleeping story blah blah blah. The second day. The first game was pretty good too started off we won 11-9 we beated the team who was the 4th and made our team stay on the range. To be continued . . .

so we were trying so hard to get to the top, the second game we had to battle with the white team again, we lost the universal point by ONLY one point with them the previous game earlier, so Neon was up 7 - 4 then they had great defenders, they were ridiculously can jump anytime they wanted to, so they kicked us out dang it!we lost them again by 10-11. so semi-quarter we lost, so our place is the 4th. we took group shots then seperated and watched other teams on side line. my friend team the White! got to play to the champion match. but we had to leave to the train station early to catch a train back to chiangmai, my heart was torn up cuz i really dont want to leave, i have a mix feeling to leave and stay. but it was alright, i just need to get over it :) things i need to improve; lay out, jump, tactics and somemore handler skills.Timewarp:3009. Last Wednesday I had an opportunity to go to MaeWang to join the Northern style Cell group, I was surprised that they all spoke in northern while we were worshiping, it’s quite amazed that I got to be apart of the northern Thai people at the first time, I feel like God has driven and moving His blessings and His words in their life and all over in Chiangmai than i've thought about, one of them accepted Christ into her heart even before I was born, so God’s words are precious and always right. So the feeling right after that is all about encouraging and overwhelming how amazing God is. I don’t know what to write much i just feel happy that I got to speak and share with my native tongue and talked about our beloved God. It’s worth being there. . . .

Last Tuesday I went to Bangkok to get the document at the National Police office, Criminal background check document sounds scary for me. We, Maew, Poi and I took the bus from Chiangmai to Bangkok, it was kinda unhappy with the seat cuz the space between the front seat is small, as I’m tall in Thai size dude and all the way to Bangkok took 11 hours, I was hoping that whenever we arrive in Bangkok, I will definitely take a power nap. My leg was sore speaking of that time. Once we got there at 6 in the morning, the bus took us into town of someplace in Bangkok around LadPrao area. We’re crawling (tired mode) and avoiding to get bitten from soi dogs, Poi took us to stay at the church (Church of Christ in Ladproa cooperates with CDCC in Chiangmai) so it’s so neat to have all the connections with brothers and sisters in Christ. After we got there in Bangkok, we had the recovering time to adjust and stretching legs, back and such. We all woke up at 9am and began to explore our journey (I was proud to say that because we all had never been there) we just thought that it was easy to walk to the office but it was not, we proclaimed that it was just fine to walk and sightseeing. It was a little bit quite rushing tho, people here in Bangkok are so different, rush, hurry, unhappy face (IMO), and what else. We walked pass the Big store malls, Central Lad Prao mall, and many high buildings. We were lost due the chaos and lack of communication between a guy and two girls and they didn’t trust a map. Whatever finally we’ve found it, the National Police office is full of the solidarity and hospitality. The service is so good; the office was willing to help all of us to fill the applications and took us to the place that we had to be. So Easy! My document was approved and went through the whole process but two girls got caught a little bit because they considered about being cheated so I had to sneak to give some document to them so it can be approved…phew Thank God for that. After the time at the National Police office we went to the mall and got some cool cheap stuff there. Then headed back to the church just for taking a nap and get ready to go back to the home land, I didn’t look forward to take a bus back at all but well I’m screwed out. The trip back was bizarre. I had to sit by the old lady who talked about her son the whole time, disturbing time cuz sounded like she was mad and upset the whole stories. So this trip was quite interesting for me I didn’t expect that would be easy but because of I trust in Him, He lead the way which already prepared for us, and thank you for His people in this world who step up and help each other out. Ultimate Frisbee Tourney in chiangmai

I went to the Ultimate Frisbee tournament last Saturday at Prem Int'l School with friends and people from Bangkok soidawgz Ultimate frisbee. It was a one hat tournamentbasically like just put the name in the hat and drew it out off the hat without knowing who will be in your team; some has got event strength, stamina, fast and best handler in the team but some don’t. My team was a “Ma-mueng” the Mango team had 5 people in the team. How to set the team and make it work was combined with other team if we win we’ll get the 2 point together if not we will get only 1 point. So our team we won 4 games in the morning and lost 1 game in the evening. So then we got to play the semi-final but we was nearly get to win but we lost. It was okay tho because we’d been out to the hot sun from 9am till 5:30pm. so kinda tried. My legs were shaking hurtfully but my left ankle was fine. My favorite moment was when we gathered with the team idk what theirs name were … but ended up with used “Tuck and Huck” it was ridiculously fun, we tucked our jersey in and played like we were nerds and geeks but we didn’t forget to play hard and we WON!! that was fun ...

Oh well, Since Last Tuesday’s post, what I did with the SBU team on Wednesday : Ultimate Frisbee is still flava all time sport that I love, I really do, I honestly can play like everyday if you want to play call me J after that went to have dinner with them, the meal was delich. I talked to Dream a lil bit about making tees. After that shopping mode, dashed to Night Bazaar, spent time to shop even I didn’t want to but I got a pocket knife, postcards, hat and a Thailand badge. Mhmhm I didn’t realized that we walked prob like 3-4 hours then headed to our presence … sleep tight.
Thursday; Went to eat at Taepan Restaurant (Japanese round table own by Thai peep) I really like this place a lot it’s one of my favorite places you must have. After chow down time, I took some people to the DDR (Back to 2000 A.D. I’M SO SURE everyone knows about the DDR) while some people headed to Bowling place. I danced with Tim and Melodies took our pics for awhile then Bowling Rock! Apparently the place is like Grow in the Dark place, all the growing pins are awesome, Music was boring at first but then after Tim requested the Hip Hop type of song to motivate then everyone began to bust out the moves crazily. Enjoy! On Friday: a Fantastic Friday at Ban Kanoon is always awesome, the college students prob 30 came to the party; I haven’t seen this amount of many people like this before, anyway We played games: basket upset, Limbo Saturday: English camp was good and odd. I and Tim were in charge about the Sport station, there were 5 different stations like game, card games and such. I myself was kinda tired a lil bit after didn’t sleep much last night and I was also excited tho to meet the students. We taught them about Frisbee … Yay! How to throw, toss and stuffs. We played games with them like name themselves the animals, tossing, passing through by calling the name if they can’t catch it or spend the time more than 3 seconds, they have to run and act like they are the animal plus voices… ha ha ha fun! After the camp we all went to the Duke’s restaurant at night bazaar (again) and ended with the Karaoke Madness at the 12 HuayKaew till midnight … I got 99 points from singing “Cinderella” Tattoo colour.
Sunday …… Worship time and last time hanging out with SBU team. I shared lil bit about things in a past week; the struggle about waiting for the response from the Camp Tejas that I’ve applied for the summer2009. It’s been already almost 2 weeks the girl who applied the same camp they’ve got the email already asking about what field that they would like to work for the summer... so stressed out but from the scripture I’ve been memorizing : Philippians 1:6 after church . Melodie, Madison, Brooke, Keith, Nan, Biew, Dream, Katie and me went to the Chiangmai zoo meanwhile the rest of the team went to the Bor Sang Umbrella factory in San Kham Phaeng basically this day was a sad day to say good bye to them. Sending off was kinda hard. P'Pick got baptized too! Welcome to the family of Christ! Oh well, Zach (the former SBU student who came last year is here too, Welcome back!)

Today was a rough day, tired. I havent caught on sleep much lately, been sleeping 6 hours a day in a week but typically fine. After work usually, go to the gym, bulk myself up a little. Less than a week before SBU head back. Hanging out with SBU energize me well and fun. They are so "Bah Bah Bor Bor" ( means "Crazy" in Thai language). Today We went to Moo Kra tha; a place where we can grill chicken meat, pork, meat ball, up to INTESTINE!! whoa. doubt i was kinda rough for them to eat too because they hadnt had it before, crazy thai foods. We got there and began to have a crazy madness feast,Chow down, some people brought too much foods to cook, some people experienced what they didnt even know what it was. Mylodie was beside me, i just threw everthing on her plate, feed her like my homie :) We spent times there pretty much to fill up our stomach. After that chilled at Ban kanoon for awhile, Bay jammed the guitar for us; I myself really enjoy singing songs while Bay was rocking out the guitar. and it was time to go to Jazz pub, they played REALLY GOOD SONGS! I recored their songs on my phone as well so, Happy Day over all.

at Bankanoon function today We sang songs about Him, praising and learned about his book. We learned about Mark 5:21-43. The SBU acted out the skit. This passage teaches about the Faith then we had lunch together at Lemon Tree Restaurant; Morning Glory dish was fabulous over all. next plan was shopping at the mall and a sunday walking street :)

Today i had really good times with the SBU team, We went to the Elephant riding, first it was so awesome to ride with new cool friend name "Melodie" We were on the cute female elephant name "Mae Noi" obviously means "Mother Noi" wonder why? but as my point is She splited on me too much , my shorts was wet and her boogers was on my lap as well. She was so little compared to our size (Me and Melodie) pretty was heavy enough. Our lady ride was so fricking hungry as first we dashed out of the ladder, she began to swing her trunk up and down to reach the bananas in my hand, Breakfast time i guess. The elephant tamer took us up to the bumpy hill that when we can enjoy looking and staring the other elephant's butt cuz we cant see anything beside that and those greenish thorns. It took us probably 20 minutes to get back to the ladder where we can get off and feel relief after the butt sore. Then Song Taew driver took the team to Bamboo Rafting again (Yay..) i like Rafting better than riding Elephant..ha ha. Since we got there, Changed our clothes to be ready to get wet..ohh yeah , Paired up, Our raft was awesome at first, Nathan, Melodie and Me but then Nathan had to go with Jade cuz she was alone but herself. that's fine! We had little wars along the river, i got pushed by the girl name Madison, ohh well, then we enjoyed the raft, then our last journey was about to end, our friend; Andy H's raft got stuck on the rocks and then was about 10 feets after that there was a jumping cliff place.... i wasnt thinking and had no idea what was i doing at all, i was just follow them and wanted to see what was going but then i was about to follow; now i know jumping cliff; i was so anxious. my friends they tried to give me instructions and stuffs, kinda feel little pressure with that cuz it was my first time doing that, but it took me awhile to decide to jump, huh and my ear hurts now...but i feel really good doing that i was going to do more but we had to go... That's all about funnnnn!!!

I’m Ekk. I was born and raised in Thailand with the family which is like 70% believe in Buddhism and the rest is about the ghost spirit. I grew up in the broken family, my father was an alcoholic for 8 years I began to have a dislike feeling with my father since I could remember. My Mom had to wake up early everyday to catch a bus to her work place. I felt like I had missed out on love because of my unfortunate situation. I only saw my mother during the night time after school then I had to follow her to chase after my father because he would sleep at someone’s house. That was embarrassed. But that took only a year my father stopped drinking alcohol and became a good hard worker. That was when I am proud of him and love him so much. Our family has grown and now has our own business. In high school I was such a normal kid tried to be cool to get attentions. After graduated from high school I decided to study at Rajabhat Chiangmai University in English major as I like to speak English and wish that could be more alternatively to find a good job in the future. When I was in second year in college, I’ve met the internship student who came to my university to help teaching English, they’re from the USA. I became their friend as I was invited to hang out with them. One day I had to take them home, I saw a bunch of people were doing something, I heard they’re singing songs which are so beautiful, I was so curious and began to wonder then my friend answered They're having a bible study now and the next day they invited me to their house. I had opportunities to learn about Christianity and study bible. The entire thing that I’ve learned and been received is touching my heart ‘Love and Caring’ which I’ve been looking for long times to fill my heart. I felt so blessed and overwhelming. It’s been 3 months having fun but one day I got caught that I wasn’t a Christian yet because I was seeking through faith. I have asked many people about Christianity what they thought; they all agreed it is a good thing to have a relationship with God, Jesus. So I decided to follow and accepted Christ into my heart two months later. I’d been to the Chiangmai Baptist Church many times but later on I was absent due to I had a part-time job which was in the morning shift but I didn’t forget to pray and continue to have relationship with Him. After I graduated I got to meet Quintin, he is the professor of the team that came to teach English at my school, in every year there will be many groups from the USA come to teach English, study about Thai culture and help the church. So I get to help the students to know more about Thai culture which should do and don’t. I and Quintin became a good friend since then. We also have a bible study together with other friends which is help, encourage and lift each other up. My life has been changing and blessed a lot; my job, friends and other talent ability. First it was so hard to adjust and tell people who are closed to me but by God’s power. I got through that situation easily telling my parents that I am a Christian and they support me ever since. I am so blessed when I prayed that I would like to have more friends. Now I have so many friends I really enjoy hanging out with them, they’re cool and also are Christians, followers of Christ. Now we have a house church and I’m in charge about worship music, I really like to sing songs, I prefer the Christian songs are powerful the words in the song are so beautiful and true. Since I’ve been know Quintin for about 3 years. I’ve got to go to do the ministry with him like having an English camp with the kid in Maewang, giving away the sufficient stuff to the orphanage etc. Last summer there are students from the US came to Chiangmai, Thailand had a project called World changer, so I’ve got to be in the team which helped the kids at the orphanage. I was taken to the field, dug the hole and planted the trees because the place will move to the new land and make a new big building to be adequate the kids. The main purpose was about helping them clear out the land, plant trees and playing with the kids in the after noon as I’ve worked and was a member of the world changers, I’m really enjoy playing with the kids and God taught me about there is nothing matter but God’s power and love. So that what God taught me to be by loving each other.

SBU Team, from Missouri is here. There’re 11 of them this year. They are so funny to be around most of them have the same mutual friend like the former Thailand SBU team; Andy S, Shawn, Melissa and such. Can’t wait till this weekend to go Bamboo rafting with them and I’m so sure it will be fun.
As you guys have known about I applied for a summer camp staff in Texas, it’s called Camp Tejas, Today Seth (The guy who in charge about the international student who would like to come and work with) He replied my email and telling me that I have to wait till he will go over my application and be finished. He also said that it’d be next week to know and I’m accepted or not. I also asked my friends to be a reference (Quintin; my good friend and mentor, Brooke, Carrie, Shawn, and my Thai friends) so hopefully I’d probably get this job for the summer 2009. My recently work has been boring, I do like this job but it’d be more awesome if I work for the Christian community and grow in Christ more than as I could here. I really like working with the kids, helping the community activies and talking to people. I hope one day God will provide me a job.

Do and Grow Together ...eh?

i've been thinking that we should do and keep lifting each other up, encoraging, reading the bible together as in the bible shows "..From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work..." in Ephesians 4:16 as WE are a body of Christ and need to stick/get together; pray, share, worship, and praise to God, not only just one part can grow perfectly by itself but need to develop together. so i would like to encourage you, my friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ to read the bible together with me and we can discuss or share by using this blog. the verse base on The one year bible. Also I will write things happend recently and will end with the bible verse afterward.

Cabining

The pictures on the left were about fun time at the cabin we went there right before the new year eve. On the way up to the place we were going to stay. there're many sakura trees(Originally from Japan) along the way, we stopped by and shot some cool pic of that tree. Then visiting the church then drove up to the place is called "Coffee Plant Site B" and spent the night there. our dinner we cooked grilled pork on the electric pot and boiled vegetable yummmm .... i really enjoy being around with them :) Here is the pic of the cabin we stayed (that's my friend, Brooke)
I stayed uplate till prob 1 or 2 am talking with P'wee and Note those conversation was so blessed. We shared and encouraged each other at the same time.

This was like an hour before the countdown started, we're upstair boosting up the caffeine at the Starbucks near Tapae Gate where many people get ready to go down to the ground floor to dance, celebrate and stuffs. heck yes we had fun watching the tons of firework afterward. so awesome. it kinda looked like a war i might add but except there're colorful. Then we continued to the Root Rock Reggae pub which is a barn and many people dance crazily, one dude was wasted and got beaten up cuz he bumped people around and annoyed ... sorry poor dude ..We still kept dancing like a freak and throat dried cuz i danced too much and suffocated from those people who smoke ... hmhmm time to go home. Welcome 2009 ..Yay! 555

NEXT DAY TO LAMPANG!

I woke up at 7am ..so tired and had to go and tried to catch the train down to Lampang with Maew (The Girl) cuz she wanted me to go with her. Amazingly Brooke showed up and joined our journey... :) but our schedule delayed for 1 hour so just had to wait but talked about how fun we had last night at the countdown party. the train was quite a bit annoying for me because of the sound, people, seat which is like a solid plastic board ... i hope they can decline. hey i forgot our trip was just to meet up with P'Tum, P'Joe, P'Pick, Poi, and Jon (the dude from Texas A&M). once we got there at Lampang Train station. P'Tum took us to eat somtum and grilled chikens...a roi mak mak

then he took us to the ceremic place as i requested him to take me there but i didnt buy anything just looked around how cool the mug cups are... there're amazing ... then we were off to the temple which are the huge monk statue sood still ... after that went to the park , chilled lil bit then head back to Chiangmai, Warm up was our next plan ..... summary real quick ...... had Fun dancing with Hannah and Maew
